Engineering for Girls

UPDATE: We had published a link in this article to the GoldiBlox video promoting their range of engineering toys for girls. However, in a twist more relevant to our media stream, the video has been taken down as it used music from US band Beastie Boys for which permission had not been sought or given. Oops!

The lesson here is, NEVER put anything online or use any media assets in public that you don't 100% have the rights to use.

Further details on the story on Rolling Stone online.

Click through to see the original story with a slightly different version of the video and some 'making of' videos.

A cool video promoting engineering toys tailored for girls from US company GoldieBlox. Apart from the commercial angle, it looks like fun!

There are a few 'making of' videos which show behind the scenes footage and more details on how some of the contraptions are put together;

And here's the launch video that gives a bit of background on what it's all about;

we're all VOLUNTEERS

Mentors give their time freely to help build coding skills in the community.
If you'd like to help out, regardless of your skill set, send us your details.
